Pirelli: Bis 2019 Reifenausrüster der Formel 1

Pirelli bleibt für weitere drei Jahre exklusiver Reifenausrüster der FIA Formula One World Championship. Der italienische Reifenhersteller und die FIA verlängerten den aktuellen Vertrag für den Zeitraum von 2017 bis 2019.

Der Deal wurde im Winter ausgehandelt - FIA und Pirelli vereinbarten in Zusammenarbeit mit den Teams einige Änderungen in den technischen Regeln. Ab 2017 kommen breitere Reifen zum Einsatz. Pirelli wurden Sondertesttage vom Weltverband FIA eingeräumt. 2017 treten zahlreiche neue Regeln in Kraft. Eine der größten Veränderungen betrifft dabei die Reifen. Im Rahmenprogramm des Großen Preises von Monaco 2016 präsentierte Pirelli die Prototypen der künftigen Formel-1-Reifen. Die Reifen werden erheblich breiter als ihre Vorgänger. Während die Auflagefläche der Vorderreifen von 245 auf 305 Millimeter anwächst, verbreitert sich die Lauffläche der Hinterreifen sogar von 325 auf 405 Millimeter. (kle)

More safety on roads, can and will be delivered with stricter inspections in conjunction with more education in the procurement and maintenance of commercial vehicle wheels – and MWheels GmbH, the new German operation of Motor Wheels Service Distribution (MWSD) is dedicated to these issues. In April 2014, MWSD’s dedication was rewarded by recording its first successes: MWSD’s wheel safety road safety campaign for commercial vehicles was adopted in the new EU Roadworthiness Law, which was passed by all Member States in May of that same year.

For the last time, the tyre trade fair took place in Essen and apart from all the business sense there was of course a lot of melancholy left behind. In August an exclusive customer circle of Pneuhage Reifendienste exchanged experiences concerning different topics of fleet optimization in Leipzig. About 50 representatives of renowned transport companies listened to the explanations of responsible people of Kloepfel Consulting GmbH and the trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull in the framework of an event at the Porsche plant.
