Recently, the final decision-making process of the EU Commission concerning anti-dumping and anti-subsidies procedures initiated against the import of Chinese truck tyres has taken place. On 22nd October 2018, the EU Commission officially announced its final decision referring to the anti-dumping investigation with the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/1579.
From 11th to 15th September, the REIFEN 2018 will have its premiere parallel to the Automechanika Frankfurt. Most of the tyre brands with radiant power will not be present at the trade fair, as the majority of the international tyre industry decided in favour of being present at The Tire Cologne.

Yokohama has finished the technology relations with Kumho Tire. Since February 2014, there has been an agreement on the Master Technological Alliance. Goodyear has announced that the new Jaguar E-PACE of the British car manufacturer will be equipped with tyres of the brand Goodyear. The compact SUV will get the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV and the Eagle F1 Asymmetric SUV All-Terrain as standard fitting. Both tyres are marked with “JRL” in order to indicate Jaguar Land Rover’s approval as original equipment.
Since the end of 2017, Falken has been selling the secondary brand Sumitomo Tyres. The current product portfolio consists of the passenger car and SUV summer tyre BC100 and the SL727, a summer tyre especially developed for vans and light trucks. Michelin and Camso have come to an agreement according to which Michelin will take over the company Camso based in Quebec/Canada. The OTR (off-the-road) activities of both companies are to be concentrated in a new division, which will be managed from Quebec.
According to information from Pirelli, it has cracked the mark of 500 homologations for run-flat tyres, which means in detail: 326 homologations for summer tyres, 100 approvals for winter tyres, and 90 releases for all-season tyres. BMW has just selected two Bridgestone tyre series for the original equipment of the only recently introduced third generation of its BMW X3.
