From 1st to 9th December 2018 (preview day: 30th November) the Essen Motor Show will bring sports car enthusiasts, motorsport racers, and classic car fans together. The horsepower festival will take place for the 51th time. There will be Continental, Hankook, Mercedes FanWorld, Porsche Motorsport, Renault Motorsport, Skoda, and Toyo Tires as well known exhibitors.
They will show among others sports cars, tyres, and racing cars. The ADAC will work as a conceptual supporter of the Essen Motor Show and will present its motorsports programme in hall 3. “We are looking forward to 10 days of intensified enthusiasm for sports automobiles. The Essen Motor Show is the horsepower festival among automobile trade fairs: here sports car enthusiasts, tuners, motorsport racers, and classic car fans celebrate their hobby“, explains Ralf Sawatzki, project leader of the trade fair.
There will be a special exhibition with classic and more modern models from among others Aston Martin, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche in hall 3. Companies like ABT Sportsline, BBS, Brabus, Eisenmann Exhaust Systems, H&R Spezialfedern, KW automotive, OZ Deutschland, Remus Innovation, and Sonax will represent the Verband Automobil Tuner (Association of Automobile Tuners). Furthermore, tuning shops like JP Performance, Liberty Walk, Sidney Industries, and Vossen Wheels will be at the start line in Essen. On the occasion of the beginning of the trade fair, the Association of Automobile Tuners will disclose the new campaign vehicle of the initiative TUNE IT! SAFE!: A tuned sports car with police design advertising safe tuning.
In the framework of the special exhibition tuningXperience, 160 private European owners will show their often highly decorated vehicles in halls 1A and 3. You will once more be able to hear the sounds of roaring engines and squeaking tyres in the motorsports arena in hall 4. The Classic & Prestige Salon organized by S.I.H.A. will again take place in halls 1 and 2. Apart from a special exhibition with unmarketable exhibits of the automotive history, there will be hundreds of exquisite classic cars for sale. Moreover, a selection of design cars and crazy cars will be either as a draft of future mobility or just as fun vehicles in hall 3 too.
