The Tire Cologne honoured with “Best International Exhibition“ award

The Portuguese specialized journal “automotive magazine“ has honoured The Tire Cologne (TTC) with the “Best International Exhibition“ award. The specialized exhibition for the tyre, wheel and workshop industry celebrated its premiere in May 2018. Ingo Riedeberger, Director at TTC, represented the whole TTC team of Koelnmesse, and received the award in a ceremony in Lisbon at the end of November.

Moreover, the BRV, as ideational supporter of the The Tire Cologne, was also quite pleased with the award. It confirmed that it was a good decision that the association together with the partner Koelnmesse took the risk to restart with a new exhibition concept. The next The Tire Cologne is going to take place from 9th to 12th June 2020. The Tire Cologne celebrated its premiere at Koelnmesse in May 2018. (kle/akl)

Top-level award for industry & trade

For many years, the Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk e.V. (BRV - German Tyre Retailer and Vulcanization Trade Association) has honoured top performance of the German tyre industry. For the first time, the top-level Kreativpreis 2018 will be awarded in two sections.

The Tire Cologne - Tyre sector in favour of Cologne

The tyre sector is looking at the premiere of The Tire Cologne full of expectation. Hardly anybody in sector circles seems to be talking about the “REIFEN“, which is supposed to celebrate its premiere parallel to Automechanika in Frankfurt this year. For a long time, the people responsible for both trade fairs have been taking part in a kind of competition to draw attention. Now, however, it has become quite obvious – for sector participants The Tire Cologne will be “the place to be“.

The Tire Cologne als „beste internationale Fachmesse“ ausgezeichnet

Die portugiesische Fachzeitschrift „automotive magazine“ hat die The Tire Cologne (TTC) als „Best international Exhibition“ ausgezeichnet. Die Fachmesse für die Reifen-, Räder und Werkstattbranche feierte im Mai 2018 Premiere. Stellvertretend für das gesamte TTC-Team der Koelnmesse nahm Ingo Riedeberger, Director der TTC, den Preis in feierlichem Rahmen Ende November in Lissabon entgegen.

Bridgestone offers all-season tyre for the first time

The worldwide biggest tyre manufacturer presented its technical know-how and its tyre solutions among others in the passenger car and truck segment at The Tire Cologne. The Weather Control A005, Bridgestone’s first all-season tyre, celebrated its world premiere.
